Our history
Humble Beginings
Cameron Bike Training was founded in 1992 by Rosie, at that time we were based in a little caravan at Back o’ Hill, Industrial Estate, Stirling and our training area was the old parade ground for Stirling Castle, where Sainsbury’s now stands.

This is where Calum, Rosies son, grew up on the training ground and would sit in on the theory elements of CBTs, and would often cut students off to answer questions during the course from the age of 3!
Rosie was the first female in the UK to qualify to teach Direct Access when it was introduced in 1997, having passed the assessment in March 1996. She has gone on to build a reputation which is second to none within the motorcycle training industry, offering expert tuition with a wealth of motorcycling experience.
Rosie continued to run the training school until Calum has come of age, he became one of the youngest instructors and qualified with full marks on his DVSA assessments. Since 2012 they have run the school together and introduced a limited stock of clothing, helmets etc. At the start of 2021 we moved to much larger premises in Alva Industrial Estate and have changed our name to Cameron Motorcycles to reflect the changes that have happened with Calums’ involvement, and have now expanded bringing more instructors on board, opening up a full size shop selling motorcycle clothing, a large range of helmets, parts and accessories, as well as running a motorcycle workshop. Rosie and Calum continue to run the business together and look forward to further expansion over the coming years bringing more products and expert tuition to our customers and students
